For a photojournalism course with University of Maryland professor and former Dallas Morning News photo editor John Davidson, I shot photos that highlighted "blue" in my daily life. My final photo essay includes 20 photos -- my favorite shot is of blue twine in a bird's nest. 

Global Citizen Festival

I photographed festival-goers of the 2015 Global Citizen Music Festival, which took place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Earth Day. There was a lot of love -- for friends, the music, and the selfie stick. 

Renaissance Festival of Maryland

I took photos at the 2014 Renaissance Festival of Maryland. I caught shots of the vendors, the costumed attendees, and the illusive king.
